How much does it cost?
Charges are based on the number of square inches of solid ink not overall size your tattoo. Rates are $50 per square inch of ink per treatment.
Can the laser be used for anything besides tattoo removal?
Yes, it can also used to remove permanent makeup, embedded pencil lead and traumatic tattoos. Traumatic tattoos are a result of tar, dirt and debris from a deep abrasion (usually road rash), which have embedded in the skin and result in a dark stained appearance at the site of the injury. See the example on the right.
Is removing a tattoo painful?
Most people feel some discomfort during tattoo removal. It is frequently described as snapping sensation. Depending on the location of the tattoo, it may be more uncomfortable. No Regrets uses the CynoSure™ cooling system for topical numbing and increased comfort during the treatment.

How long does it take?
The treatment itself lasts 5 to 20 minutes and most tattoos require 8 to 10 treatments. Depending on the age of the tattoo, the location, the type and color of ink used, and skin color and condition more treatments maybe needed. This will be discussed during your confidential consultation.
Do I have to limit my sun exposure after a treatment?
Yes, it is important to keep the treated area out of UV light during the removal process. No Regrets suggests you keep the area covered and use a sunscreen of SPF 30 or greater. Skin that is tanned due to the sun or tanning bed can result in a temporary hypo or hyper pigmentation (lighting or darkening of the skin).
What will it look like when it's done and is there any scarring?
Initially there will be some redness, like a sunburn to the treated area. Your tattoo may appear more vibrant for a day or two following your first treatment. You will start to see fading after 10 to 14 days, older tattoos (10 years or greater), may start sooner. Results vary because each person is different. Most tattoos can be completely removed, but No Regrets cannot guarantee this on an individual basis.
I just got a new tattoo and I don't like it, how long do I have to wait to start removal?
You need to wait at least 6 weeks before starting the removal process. We want to make sure we are starting with healthy skin.
What is the recovery time following tattoo removal?
Normal activities can be resumed immediately following a treatment. In fact it could even be scheduled during a lunch hour!
Who does the tattoo removal?
At No Regrets, all treatments are done in a private treatment room by RNs who are certified laser specialists (CLS)
